Skill Gap Analysis for Indian Cities (Sponsor: Union Ministry of Urban Development)

Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD, Govt. of India) planned to assess the perennial gaps in employable skills to train & re-skill urban poor workforce, an ambitious program executed through Municipal Corporations. Madurai was selected as a pilot city followed by Tiruchirappalli City Corporation. ConsoTree co- created methodologies, collaborated with industries, institutions & developed a suitable solution. Partnering with Thiagarajar School of Management in Madurai, later Bishop Heber College in Trichy to research across different vertical industries.

Orientation & Field Survey

The field Survey team was put on a rigorous workshop to learn the objective, target groups, messaging, articulation of questionnaire, providing supplemental information and do’s and don’ts while on the ground. Extensive survey activity with above 400+ employer organizations by ConsoTree Research team in each City. Few random, representative images.
