WaterTree, is part of ConsoTree, (a social enterprise founded in 2014, registered u/sec 25 companies act 1956; involved in Transformation, Capacity building and catalyzing inclusive growth for Southern region. With over 50 full time personnel, more than 1000 volunteers across 20+ chapters in different regions, it operates as a true global organization)

Why WaterTree?

The Climate rattles India and rest of world.
Often heavy rains/cyclone / floods disrupt and displace people en masse , causing permanent loss of shelter, livelihood and lives
On the other hand, summers become acute and often people do not get adequate water to live
Either way, Agriculture, Industry sectors and productivity suffers.
Landslides, Wildfire, Storms and other extremities affect ecological balance
Many cities in the world are threatened as water sources are dried up, while many islands are under threat of drowning due to melting glacier and rising sea water levels
People move en masse and crowd elsewhere, create new cities, cut trees, again disturb ecology causing extreme weather and it’s cyclic

Being an emerging Water Research & Management Institute, WaterTree wishes to address the issues and challenges holistically rather than engaging in a piecemeal basis.

What does WaterTree do?

Understand,assimilate assorted variable related to water. Define broader frameworks towards betterment

Facilitate,Involve Academia in Research project.

Collaborate with Govt. Agencies,Industries, Global institutions to achieve accurate result.

Create Awareness with Plublic using Technology & Gaming; Stimulate interest by Contests.

Connect the stakeholder and ensure collective results help the Society.
